Trump Accuses Biden of Trying To Overthrow America Due To His Current Policies at NC Event

At a Get Out The Vote event on Saturday in Greensboro, North Carolina, former President Donald Trump made an especially startling claim: he said that President Joe Biden was a member of a “conspiracy to overthrow the United States of America.”

Reminding the crowd how he felt the 2020 presidential contest was a "rigged election," Trump turned his address into a meat-and-potatoes semi-sermon, accusing Joe Biden of being the cause of the border situation after the former VP took office and removed operations created to slow down illegal immigration.

"Joe Biden is providing support and consolation to the United States' foreign adversaries on a daily basis. In reality, he is providing assistance," Trump said.

And they don’t respect us anymore as a country. Three years ago, we were more respected than ever before, and now they have no respect for us whatsoever. And Putin, yesterday is talking about nuclear. Did you hear that, right? Nuclear. He wouldn’t be talking about nuclear if I were here, he wouldn’t be talking about it.

Biden’s conduct on our border is, by any definition, a conspiracy to overthrow the United States of America. You know, he talks about democracy. He is a danger to democracy. He is. Number one, he goes after his political opponent, which nobody’s ever done in this country. They do it in third world countries very well. They do it.

But they’re not going to succeed with us. They’re not going to succeed. It’s making us stronger. It’s making us stronger. Biden and his accomplices want to collapse the American system, nullify the will of the actual American voters, and establish a new base of power that gives them control for generations.

Biden's political opponent, according to Trump, is targeting him because the DOJ is suing him for allegedly attempting to thwart the orderly transition of power in 2020. Felony allegations against the former president include trying to rig the 2020 presidential election results and inciting the disturbances at the US Capitol on January 6.

This week, immigration was the main topic of discussion when both Trump and Biden traveled to several border communities in Texas. Biden faced backlash for selecting Brownsville, a community with far lower immigration numbers than Eagle Pass, the location where Trump and Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) attended.
