Donald Trump thinks that by taking votes away from President Joe Biden, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s presidential candidacy is helping America. There are worries, meanwhile, that the Independent candidate would also affect the former president's prospects as a Republican.

Following the introduction of Silicon Valley investor and attorney Nicole Shanahan as his running partner, Mr. Trump discussed the recent news on Truth Social and said that, in his opinion, RFK Jr. is the most radical left candidate in the race by a wide margin. He really believes in the Green New Scam and other destructive economic ideas.

"I suppose this implies that he will be attracting votes away from Joe Biden, which would be beneficial for America."

"His running mate, Nicole Shanahan, is incredibly progressive, perhaps even more so than him." It seems improbable that Kennedy, a Democrat with strong left-leaning opinions, would change!

Though Mr. Trump thinks the Communists will make it difficult for him to get on the ballot, he thinks this is great news for MAGA. Probably for Environmental Fraud, he and she will both soon be facing charges. He is not my political opponent; he is Joe Biden's. The fact that he is jogging greatly excites me!

Beneath all the rhetoric, however, it seems that Mr. Trump could be worried that RFK Jr. might steal votes from his own campaign.

Democratic activists worry that if there are more people running, it may hurt the president more than it did the last one. But according to new polls, in the approaching November election, RFK Jr. may get a comparable number of supporters from Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump.

The most recent RealClear Polling average projects that Mr. Trump will prevail by a margin of 5.4 percent in a three-way contest. His estimated percentage of the vote is 40.7 percent, compared to 35.3 percent for Mr. Biden and 12.3 percent for Mr. Kennedy.

For this reason, in a Tuesday teleconference between the Democratic National Committee and media, Democrats disparaged RFK Jr. Robert Garcia, a congressman from California, attacked him, calling him a "tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist" and said he was "anti-science" and "anti-truth." The acknowledged propensity of the candidate to engage in grandstanding against vaccines served as the impetus for this reaction.

Mr. Garcia claims that RFK Jr. is conducting a "spoiler campaign" and suggests that his real goal could be to help Donald Trump win the presidency.

Democratic lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania Austin Davis said during the discussion that RFK Jr. "was brought into this race by Donald Trump's top supporters" and declared with assurance that he had no prospect of winning in Pennsylvania. We have to make sure that Donald Trump has a greater chance of winning and that President Biden loses votes. We must take immediate action to stop this from occurring.

RFK Jr. has previously claimed that Mr. Trump had asked him to be his running mate. If this allegation is true, it may indicate that the presumed Republican candidate sees him as a possible opponent and sought to add him to the MAGA team in order to offset the danger.
