As of right now, seven jurors have been chosen to participate in the trial of former President Donald Trump. Trump watched the jury selection process for his criminal trial on day two at the Manhattan Supreme Court.

Potential jurors were tested for the "hush money" trial, and at least 50 of them were rejected because they said they could not be unbiased or fair. The trial started on Monday. For the record, this is the first trial for criminal charges against a former US president.

Prior to the 2016 election, the trial is taking place, and there is speculation that Trump paid former porn actress Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal six figures in hush money. Regarding alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels before to the 2016 election, the 45th president has entered a not guilty plea to 34 charges of falsifying business documents. The supposedly dissatisfied former attorney of Trump, Michael Cohen, facilitated this.

The former president may spend up to four years in jail if found guilty; the trial is scheduled to go around two months.

Ten peremptory strikes are granted to each side to exclude a juror from the pool without raising any objections. If a prospective juror is successfully dismissed for reason, no party has to employ a strike. There are four preemptive strikes left for each side, since both the prosecution and the defense have utilized six of them.

A "corporate lawyer," a "oncology nurse," and a "English teacher" are among the seven jurors chosen, according to surfacing reports.

A "man of Irish descent" who works in sales and has some college education is the first juror seated. As per his own remarks, he also apparently "watches some Fox News and MSNBC and read[s] the New York Times and Daily Mail."

An oncology nurse from New York who "watches CNN and reads the New York Times" serves as the second juror.

"The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Google" are the sources of news for the third juror, an Oregon business lawyer.

A guy from Puerto Rico who runs an IT training and consulting company makes up the fourth juror. Trump intrigues and enigmatics him, he allegedly said the court.

"I find it interesting that so many people are off in one way or another," he said. "This guy really is capable of doing everything." Wow.

The guy went on, "Trump "makes things interesting," but he also showed no signs of feeling strongly about his political membership.

A "Black woman with a master's [degree] in education and experience teaching English" makes up the fifth juror. She said that she is "not a political person," despite having pals who have strong views on Trump. She said that she tries to stay out of political discussions and that she does not really watch the news. Furthermore, the female juror expressed her appreciation for President Trump's honesty, saying, "I would rather that than someone who is in office who you do not know what they are thinking."

“Software engineer” is the sixth juror, and she said that she had “no strong feelings against Trump.” "New York Times, Google, Facebook, and TikTok" are the sources of news for her.

A "Manhattan civil litigator" who reads the "New York Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and Washington Post" is the last juror seated. He acknowledged that there were aspects of the Trump administration's policy that he disagreed with and declared that he had "political views as to the Trump presidency."

"I have no personal opinions about the man, and I do not know him," he said. "I keep up with the news, and I know there are other cases out there. I am not convinced, however, that I know anyone's character. After taking the oath of office, the remaining 96 jurors were excused until Thursday morning.
