Disturbing True Crime Doc on Netflix Shakes Viewers to Core - A Gut-Wrenching Discovery!

A 'Gut-wrenching' real crime documentary on Netflix has fans running to social media in terror. The streaming service provides something for everyone, even if you have already seen the real crime series starring Jennifer Garner many times and are looking for a special documentary to help you through the final few days of work.

Producers Top Knot Films and director Skye Borgman, who helmed 2007's The Cellar Door and 2022's Girl in the Picture, oversaw the documentary.

It deals with the two separate kidnappings of Jan Broberg, a Pocatello, Idaho youngster, in the 1970s, at the ages of twelve and fourteen, by the same individual.

The documentary incorporates video from interviews with Broberg as well as details from a biography called Stolen Innocence: The Jan Broberg Story, which was written and released by Broberg and her mother in 2003.

Even though the documentary, Abducted in Plain Sight (also known as Forever B), was initially shown at the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival in 2017 and added to Netflix in 2019, some viewers are only now becoming aware of it, and they are taking to social media to express their opinions.

The documentary received a strong 74 percent tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, a 74 percent audience score as well, and much praise and fear for it on social media.

A Reddit user using by the handle u/MorganAndMerlin posted a list of "cults/true crime documentaries" that cause viewers to "question humanity" and beg for more alternatives.

The reply from U/ATipsyBunny was, "Abducted in Plain Sight."
