Why Models Are Out and AI Influencers Are In: The Future of Modeling Agencies

An agency that books models has disclosed its rationale for developing an AI influencer rather than hiring actual models. Not only have adult film actors and robots been using artificial intelligence to their advantage, but a modeling agency has also disclosed that it has used the technology to make sure that its operations operate more smoothly and successfully.

Rubén Cruz established the Barcelona, Spain-based modeling agency The Clueless in 2023.

Cruz felt it was time to make a change, and a very severe one at that, after finding it difficult to bring on many customers and witnessing'several projects' placed 'on pause or terminated'.

"We started analysing how we were working and realised that many projects were being put on hold or cancelled due to problems beyond our control," he said in an interview with EuroNews.Next.

"Often it was the fault of the influencer or model and not due to design issues."

The firm chose to forgo influencers and models entirely in favor of developing AI replacements; so far, it has produced two, namely Aitana Lopez and Maia Lima.

25-year-old Lopez is from Barcelona and is characterized as 'a strong and resolute lady, autonomous in her activities and charitable in her eagerness to serve others'.

Lopez's biography is becoming more and more extensive on the agency website, complete with her star sign and hobbies.

With EuroNews, Lopez has also seen the agency reap some very sizable profits.According to the next reporting, the model's monthly salary ranges from $3,000 to $11,000.

In addition to becoming the spokesperson for a sports supplement business, the AI model is said to get $1,000 for each advertisement and to depend on the Fanvue platform, which is similar to OnlyFans.

She also has over 100,000 Instagram followers, many of whom are unaware that she is truly an artificial intelligence (AI). Cruz claims that a "well-known Latin American actor" has contacted her to "ask her out."

Cruz clarified, saying, "We discovered in the first month that people follow life rather than pictures. We had to give her some realism since she is not living, so that people might identify with her in some manner.

"We had to tell a story."

Cruz claims that the AI model's careful consideration has paid dividends.

He continued: "We did it so that we could make a better living and not be dependent on other people who have egos, who have manias, or who just want to make a lot of money by posing."

Cruz adds that businesses have expressed a similar view, pointing out that the firm has received requests from brands for their own customized model to embody their "values" and ensure that "there are no continuity problems if they have to fire someone or can no longer count on them."

The Clueless promotes itself as a team of "visionaries on a mission to redefine the world of influencers" in addition to being a "AI modeling agency" on its website.

"Our goal is to transcend the conventional realm of modeling and lead the way in influencing, ushering in a new era characterized by authenticity, impact, and deep meaning." It goes on to state.
