According to Alex Jones, there is a stalemate between his group and the federal government. InfoWars studios in Austin, Texas were allegedly about to be taken seized and closed by the federal government. Alex Jones reportedly stayed overnight in the studio to resist the raid and threatened to call the local police to halt federal agents who were attempting to lock up the doors and take all broadcast assets unlawfully.
"People are trying to hurt me," said Alex Jones. Someone had me tricked. Secret federal files have accused me of crimes. Kindly put in touch with the Department of Justice. Obviously, this was not true. Months before, when we had filed it with the federal court, they had not even glanced at it. If you were going to set someone up and tell lies about it in federal court, who would know it was already filed? You bastard. This might be my last performance."
The conservative TV personality and court-adjudicated conspiracy theorist Jones turned to social media over the weekend to alert followers of InfoWars' impending demise.
A fellow conspiracist called Mike Adams, who calls himself a "food scientist" and a "health ranger," sent RawStory some of the material for this article.
"Alex Jones just broadcast today that government is right now in the process of attempting to illegally seize the InfoWars studios, to put locks on the doors, then force-liquidate all broadcast assets, to silence [Jones]," said Adams.
"Alex slept in his studio that night and openly said that he would call the local police to stop the illegal federal raid on his studios. Details are being slowly disclosed, and the situation is uncertain," Adams told the outlet.
