On Monday, the campaign of President Joe Biden released an advertisement that used the use of government power as a weapon against his rival, former President Donald Trump. Up until today, the Biden campaign has mostly avoided discussing Trump's felony record.
Biden will portray himself as a defender of family values and paint Trump as a criminal in a $50 million ad purchase that will run until the end of June.
The advertisement, titled "Character Matters," was characterized by the Associated Press as follows: "In addition to Trump's criminal conviction, the ad notes the former president was found liable for sexual assault and financial fraud in separate proceedings." In three other criminal cases, which may not get to trial before the November election, Trump is also charged with felonies. The narrator of the advertisement says, "We see Donald Trump for who he is in the courtroom." It continues, "This election is between a convicted criminal who is only out for himself and a president who is fighting for your family," over pictures of a mug portrait of Trump and Biden giving enthusiastic high fives to fans.
In spite of Biden's assertions that he upholds family values, it is said that he has not spoken to his seventh grandchild, who was born to Lunden Roberts. Roberts is the mother of an Arkansan love child whose father, Hunter Biden, is on trial for allegedly failing to pay his fair share of taxes related to his family's business dealings with Russia, China, and Ukraine.
Many American families struggle to pay for food and rent during Joe Biden's administration, despite the fact that he earned millions of dollars as a senator, vice president, and briefly as a private person. All things considered, expenses went up by around 20% under Biden's programs.
Biden's open border policies are also causing low wages and a rise in crime, which is a burden for many American families. The entry of lethal narcotics and dangerous illegal immigration into the nation affects some Americans physically.
Maryland police said on Saturday that they had apprehended an illegal immigrant from El Salvador on Friday, who had raped and killed Rachel Morin, a mother of five from Maryland. Victor Martinez-Hernandez, a 23-year-old immigrant, entered the country illegally in February 2023, according to police, and fled after carrying out a vicious murder.
