Joe Biden is aiming to make private gun sales by law-abiding citizens illegal through a new ATF regulation that alters the definition of a firearm dealer.
Previously, a federally licensed firearm dealer was described as someone conducting gun sales for their “livelihood and profit.” However, in 2022, Biden approved legislation that eliminated the term ‘livelihood’, paving the way for a new ATF rule that redefines a ‘firearm dealer’ as an individual intending to profit from a gun sale. This regulation could potentially criminalize ordinary private individuals who sell firearms privately without conducting background checks.
The main objective behind this move is to close what is referred to as the 'gun show loophole' that has been a target of criticism from the left for many years.
Recently, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton made an announcement that he has secured an injunction against this controversial new ATF rule, preventing its enforcement in Texas.
Paxton strongly believes that this rule is unconstitutional and is fighting for its termination nationwide. He emphasizes that all private citizens should have the freedom to conduct gun sales privately without unnecessary government interference in the form of stringent gun control measures.

“Hell no, we don’t have to get over it!” President Biden gives powerful speech on gun control. Not a mention of “rigged” trials, retribution, or sharks. (Video: CNN) pic.twitter.com/qGFnrxUzL7
