According to Chicago police, a lady lost her life on Saturday after she reportedly jumped out of a moving car following a fight with her boyfriend.

Following her discovery unconscious and suffering from severe head damage early on Saturday morning on a nearby street, the 21-year-old woman—who subsequently passed away—is the subject of an inquiry in East Chicago, according to the police.

Authorities said that shortly after 12:55 a.m., they received a report for a "agency assist call" at the intersection of Dickey Road and Park Street. There, they found an unconscious lady who was bleeding from her head next to the curb. Before police and paramedics arrived, a number of witnesses, according to the police, conducted CPR on the spot.

Officers on the scene said that they spoke with the woman's 25-year-old boyfriend, who indicated that they started arguing verbally over the guy going to a game with his pals as they were on their way back from Chicago.

According to the police, the victim reportedly kicked open the front passenger door of the moving car and got out during the fight.

According to authorities, the boyfriend of the lady pulled over right away and discovered his partner was unconscious. At the scene, many witnesses dialed 911.

When the woman arrived at St. Catherine Hospital, doctors declared her dead. Since her next of kin has not yet been informed, the woman's identity has not yet been made public. As of right now, no more information is available.
