There is a lot of competition for the White House right now. Former US President Donald Trump said that he has chosen his running mate for vice president in the 2024 election. After that, he said that his running mate would "most likely" be at the next presidential debate with Joe Biden.

The businessman-turned-politician told NBC News during a campaign stop in Philadelphia that he has the exciting name in his mind. What did Trump say when asked if his choice for vice president would be at the debate? "They will be there." Additionally, he said, "I believe a lot of people are coming."

Trump's top aide, Brian Hughes, said earlier this month in a statement that the campaign's most important thing in a running mate is "a strong leader who will make a great President for eight years after his next four-year term ends."

When are you going to give us the name? The ex-President made the announcement while stopping at a restaurant in Philadelphia before a gathering. According to Trump, he will name the vice presidential candidate "right around the convention."

"Maybe a little earlier, but probably at the convention." The ex-reality TV star told NBC News, "But we will have some great people." At the Republican National Convention, delegates from all over the country will publicly choose the party's candidates for president and vice president.

Milwaukee will be the site of the gathering from July 15th to 18th. Sources told NBC News that the former president is specifically interested in Doug Burgum, JD Vance, and Senator Marco Rubio as possible top candidates for the job.

On the way to the White House, Pennsylvania is also likely to be a very important swing state. Pennsylvania went blue in the 2020 presidential election thanks to Biden, who has been actively promoting in the state as the election draws near.
