Hallie Biden, the former spouse of Hunter Biden and the widow of his brother, is expected to testify about her consumption of crack cocaine with Hunter during the firearms trial.

Prosecutors revealed that Hallie had a romantic relationship with Hunter in 2018, and she discovered a Colt Cobra.38 pistol in Hunter Biden's truck. Hallie disposed of the firearm in a nearby trash receptacle at a grocery shop. Hunter used crack cocaine throughout the acquisition of the handgun, as evidenced by various photographs found on his discarded laptop.

Hunter Biden is facing charges for three offenses: making a false statement while buying a firearm, possessing a firearm while being an unlawful user of a controlled substance, and providing false information that should have been recorded by a licensed firearms dealer.

The prosecution plans to summon several more witnesses, including Gordon Cleveland, Zoe Kestan, and Kathleen Buhle, the former spouse of Hunter Biden, who has abstained from drug usage. Hines emphasized that Hunter did not voluntarily dispose of the pistol for 11 days, as it was in his possession solely because Hallie confiscated it.

The legal matter is titled United States v. Hunter Biden, with case number 24-1703, and it is being heard in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
