Hollywood tycoon Jeffrey Katzenberg has been tasked with convincing Democratic donors that Joe Biden is not too elderly to run for office again. As co-chair of Biden's reelection, Katzenberg faced doubts from several influential donors who believed Biden was not capable of serving another four years in government. To ease their concerns, Katzenberg invited them to a White House meeting with Biden, where he encouraged them to have faith but double-check. California Governor Gavin Newsom praised Katzenberg's efforts, stating that he was instrumental in getting people to dive headfirst into the campaign.

Biden, an 81-year-old president, has been humiliating himself in public, with his physical fragility raising concerns. His public falls, such as at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation, have been memorable. Additionally, there have been indications of a decrease in Biden's mental acuity, as he struggles to finish sentences during speeches and interviews. A recent New York Times/Siena College survey revealed that 73% of registered voters think Biden is too elderly to be a successful president.

Former Disney CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has promised to provide all the resources Biden would need to win reelection in 2024. He also referred to former President Donald Trump as a "colossal asshole" during a recent event in Los Angeles.
