As a result of his dismal performance in the debates, 68 percent of independent voters want President Joe Biden to withdraw from the campaign for the 2024 election, according to a survey conducted by JL Partners on Friday. However, 32 percent of independent voters believe that he should continue to be the candidate of the Democrats.

After his performance on Thursday, many Democrats and members of the media demonstrated frenzy, which led to an increase in the amount of pressure that grew on Biden to resign down from his position. An official from the Biden campaign said that Biden would continue to run for office. According to reports, Biden will also take part in the discussion that will take place on ABC News in September.

According to the findings of the study, forty-one percent of people looking to support Biden in 2020 say that he ought to withdraw from the race.

Approximately four points after the debate, the percentage of independents who have said that they want to vote for former President Donald Trump increased to forty-four percent.

On the other hand, the survey revealed that Biden's support had decreased. The percentage of those who stated they expect to vote for Biden has decreased to 24 percent, from 28 percent before the debate.
