The relatives of the Sandy Hook elementary school victims, who won over $1.5 billion against Alex Jones's bogus allegation that the 2012 mass massacre was staged to compel Americans to embrace gun regulation, are asking for the closure of his companies.

Family members of the victims have requested a bankruptcy court judge to deny Jones's plea to financially restructure his firm, which includes Infowars. According to the families' attorneys, reorganization plans have "no prospect" for Jones's Free Speech Systems firm, and the company has failed to demonstrate any hope of beginning to satisfy the judgment against it.

If the judgment were to be given, Jones would be required to sell the majority of his assets, including his firm and its assets, but he would be able to keep his house and other personal possessions. If the judgment were to be approved, the families might not be able to collect on it.

Jones, who established a successful company selling goods like Prostagard pills, Lung Cleanse Plus Spray, and Super Male Vitality supplements through his online program, claimed that there is no way out of this. After the relatives of the victims won lawsuits in Texas and Connecticut for defamation and emotional anguish for his assertions that the mass massacre was manufactured and faked in order to enact stricter gun legislation, Jones and his firm filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
