The Netflix documentary "Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult" has put Miranda Derrick and her husband James' lives in danger. The three-part comedy, which debuted on May 29, centers on a group of dancers who believe they work for a talent agency named 7M.

The subject of the movie is Miranda Derrick, a family member who has been alienated from them and is fervently attempting to remove them. The documentary depicts Robert Shinn, the head of the 7M movement and self-described "man of God" who serves as a pastor at the exclusive Shekinah Church. Under the leader, members who had fled 7M told their tales of sorrow and anguish. Priscylla Lee, a previous participant in the series, is suing Shinn and other Shekinah members at the moment.

Derrick, who has 1.7 million Instagram followers and 2.7 million TikTok followers, accuses her sister Melanie Wilking and parents of believing that the documentary would improve their relationship or her. By the time the documentary ends, it is clear that Derrick and her family are talking and have made some progress toward reconciliation. However, the family alleges that this is all at the request of her accused cult leader, who is using the deceptive pretense of not keeping his young members away from their relatives.

Derrick has been getting together with her family for the past couple of years, privately, to work on their relationship and mend what has been broken. She thanks her fans for their support and states that she sees the light at the end of the tunnel for new material.
