Biden's Sleep Strategy: Cutting Events After 8 p.m. for More Rest

President Joe Biden shared with Democratic governors at the White House meeting on Wednesday that moving forward, he plans to avoid scheduling events after 8 p.m. to prioritize getting more sleep, as per three sources familiar with his remarks.

This shocking discovery, which was originally published by The New York Times, puts Biden's suitability and standing atop the Democratic presidential ticket under even more scrutiny.

Even while numerous prominent Democrats, funders, and doctors have openly said that Biden is physically unable to serve another four years in office, the vice president has been insistent since his disastrous debate a week ago that he has no intentions to withdraw from the 2024 running.

The news released on Thursday seems to validate the worst concerns of supporters of Joe Biden: that the 81-year-old president is now a part-time leader who is only at ease leading in his entirety early in the day.

Biden said he is cutting down on nighttime engagements so he can get more sleep, according to sources who spoke with the Times. In an attempt to convince Democratic governors that Biden is in control of his position, Biden's team flew them to Washington on Wednesday, when the remarks were made.

Since Biden's performance at the debate, when he sometimes had trouble speaking clearly and did nothing to counter the barrage of falsehoods that Donald Trump was spewing, more critical stories concerning Biden's deteriorating mental health have surfaced.

This includes a story published on Saturday by Axios, which said, citing sources in the White House, that Biden has been finding it difficult to function effectively beyond 4 p.m. on most days.

The president's sleep is likely to come, yet last week's argument continued until nine of the clock local time. It is anticipated that both debates will start at the same time in September.
