DOGEQUEST appears to encourage harassment, claiming to use "cutting-edge artificial intelligence algorithms" to collect data while urging users to engage in so-called "creative expressions of protest." The site features a Molotov cocktail cursor icon, leaving no ambiguity about its destructive intent. It promises to remove owners' information only if they sell their Tesla vehicles and provide proof. This alarming development coincides with widespread vandalism of Tesla properties, such as vehicles and charging stations, across the country.
The violence has left Tesla owners increasingly concerned about their safety. Many fear online harassment or physical harm simply because of the car they drive. Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and now head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), expressed shock during a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity. “It’s really come as a shock to me that there is this level of real hatred and violence from the left,” Musk stated.
