Following news of an email conversation involving the president’s son in 2014, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) requested that the Federal Bureau of Investigation inspect the residence and workplace of Hunter Biden for any evidence of any secret materials.

Cruz’s suggestion was based on a 1,300-word email from Biden’s old business partner Devon Archer to Biden that was discovered on his abandoned laptop and mentioned the unrest in Ukraine. Devon Archer was convicted of a fraud conspiracy in 2022 and received a sentence of more than a year in jail.

Following the discovery of a vast amount of additional documents at President Joe Biden’s Delaware residence and a Washington, D.C., address, GOP senators started to wonder whether the first son had illegal access to confidential information.

Cruz said on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, “It seems he dumps confidential materials wherever he goes. Hunter Biden has occasionally listed such properties as his residence.

Cruz joined Bartiromo after more details concerning a large number of records that President Biden reportedly gave to the University of Delaware, his alma mater, emerged. According to the Fox News host, the documents—which occupy two tractor-trailer trucks with 1,850 boxes and 415 terabytes of electronic data—are being sought by attorneys for the parties.

Cruz asserted that the FBI’s examination of the more than 1,850 boxes of documents from Joe Biden’s Senate term located at the University of Delaware was the only logical next step that was required. And given the mounting evidence, I also think it is crucial that the FBI search Hunter Biden’s residence and place of business to ensure there are no confidential documents there.

He continued, “We need to determine who had access to what and when.”

Unknown are the contents of the classified documents discovered in Biden’s residence. The senator did note that confidential documents might include everything from “broad geopolitical observations” to procedures and sources used to obtain intelligence that could threaten the lives of clandestine operatives.

Cruz argued that Congress should be aware of whether Biden had “illegally” stored such secret information at several different locations if they relate to “family business activities and potential corruption.”

Whether they involve Communist China, Ukraine, or the organizations that were giving the Biden family millions of money, Cruz questioned. “There is the possibility of very serious criminal culpability if he actually had classified documents implicating his own financial well-being.”

The president’s son and Archer exchanged an email in 2014 that stated, “Some type of decentralization will probably emerge in the East.”

“If it doesn’t, the Russians will keep upping their destabilization effort, which might result in a full-scale annexation of the eastern region, with Donetsk playing a particularly important role. The building of a landbridge between Russia and Crimea has strategic value.

The email appears to be a “scene-setter” from the State Department for international travel, according to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), a prominent congressional investigator into charges of Biden family wrongdoing. It featured “very comprehensive information” regarding Ukraine.

Johnson said in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, “It’s clear that Hunter Biden is selling access to information. Do some of the confidential materials that Vice President Biden was hiding in his home have anything to do with that? I’m not sure. However, it appears exceedingly suspicious.
