Ye, previously Kanye West, claimed that he had invited former President Trump to serve as his running partner in 2024.

In a Twitter video broadcast on Thursday night, the rapper said that at a recent meeting with Trump at his Florida estate Mar-a-Lago, he brought up a campaign. He also tweeted a number of “Ye 24” images.

Ye added in the video in the Twitter post, “I think the thing that Trump was most upset about, me asking him to be my vice president. I believe that was somewhat lower on the list of unexpected events for him.

Ye continued by claiming that Trump yelled at him over a run during the meeting.

Ye added in the video, “Has that ever worked for anyone in history when Trump started really shouting at me at the table telling me I was going to lose. “Hold on, Trump, hold on, Trump, you’re talking to Ye,” I said.

The rap mogul made an unlikely run for president in 2020, but he has backed Trump in the past and met with him in the Oval Office in 2018.

The rapper tweeted a picture of himself next to a state map of the United States one day after the 2020 presidential election with the phrase “KANYE 2024.”

Ye mentioned his future political ambitions in a September interview with ABC.

Ye said to Linsey Davis of the network, “Yes, without a doubt.

Ye stated in his most recent series of videos that he thought Trump ought to have released inmates on January 6, 2021, when he “had the chance.”

Trump called the treatment of the Jan. 6 convicts “extremely unfair” and attended a demonstration in favor of them in September that was staged outside the D.C. jail.

Hundreds of suspects have been prosecuted by prosecutors in relation to the attack, including more than 275 people accused of assaulting or obstructing law enforcement.
