After doubling down and refusing to retract his string of anti-Semitic slurs, Johnny Depp’s renowned trial lawyer Camille Vasquez has decided not to represent Kanye West. The Los Angeles-based lawyer informed her firm, Brown Rudnick, that she was quitting working with the troubled rapper just days after being hired by him, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told The Post on Monday. “He continued to spew anti-Semitic rhetoric over the weekend,” the source said of the Los Angeles-based lawyer.

According to the source, Brown Rudnick first attempted to retain West as a client but ultimately let him go after requesting that he issue a formal apology. “Camille dropped him when Ye doubled down this weekend. The company was still interested in making it work, but only if he would recant, the insider claimed. As a result, he dismissed them.

In an incorrect allusion to the military term “defcon,” West, 45, sparked outrage on Oct. 9 when he tweeted that he was “doing death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”

Only a few days after it was revealed that the rapper had hired the renowned legal firm to supervise his business agreements and contracts, TMZ broke the news of West and Vasquez’s separation. Vasquez, a litigation and arbitration specialist, gained notoriety for his work on Depp’s behalf in the explosive case he brought against his ex-wife Amber Heard earlier this year.

In the meantime, it was revealed on Monday that CAA, a Hollywood talent agency, had severed connections with the “Gold Digger” singer earlier this month due to the backlash from his provocative comments, according to the LA Times.

In recent weeks, a number of prominent firms, including Balenciaga and Vogue, have also broken up their ties with the rapper-turned-designer. West has continued to stand by his comments despite this, telling The Post writer Piers Morgan only last week that he has no remorse.

“No. When asked if he regretted making the statements, West said, “Absolutely not.

The father of four vowed he wouldn’t be terminated as a consequence, telling TMZ over the weekend that companies were merely severing their relations with him in order to “score points.” We are still here, darling, and we are not leaving. I’m not going to lose any money, he added. “One of the most liberating days was the day I was taken off the Balenciaga site,” she said.

Hate speech is “never OK or excusable,” according to West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who spoke out on Monday. On her Instagram Story, she penned the following statement: “I stand with the Jewish community and demand for an immediate halt to the awful violence and cruel words towards them.” Similar posts were made on social media by Khloé Kardashian, Kendall, Kylie, and her mother, Kris Jenner.
