CNN John Berman asked Harry Enten, "Where does the race stand among African-American voters right now?" at the start of the broadcast.
"To put it simply, it has not changed yet. I keep expecting this to go back to a historical norm," Enten said. Joe Biden received 86% of the vote from African Americans in 2020. Look at its current location. John, it is a 16-point decline to 70%. Furthermore, Donald Trump is really gaining momentum instead of merely Joe Biden losing ground. By 2020, you have gone from single digits at 7% to 21%. And once again, John, I am always on the lookout for indications that things may return to normal. And I have not seen it in any polls yet.
