Rep. Matt Gaetz proposes legislation to pull US troops out of Syria

Matt Gaetz has made me reconsider my previous opinions of him as a dunderhead and a pretender because every time I see him on the floor or at a hearing, he is fully informed and produces receipts. Currently, he is definitely the one among them that most impresses me. Gaetz is intelligent and well-spoken, but after what he did during the agonizing election for the new House's Speaker (demanding a chairmanship in exchange for his support), I no longer have the same regard for him. Any politician can act according to their principles if they believe it is the correct thing to do.
